Ankhy Alamgir Asma
Ankhy Alamgir Asma received the B.Sc. and M.S. degrees in Botany from the University of Chittagong, Chattogram, Bangladesh, in 2020 and 2023 respectively. She was a Research Assistant at Ethnobotany and Pharmacognosy Lab, Department of Botany, University of Chittagong from 2017 to 2023. She was a former Assistant Teacher of Science at Titas Mission School, Titas, Karikandi, Cumilla, Bangladesh, from January 10 to May 31. She is currently working as a Lecturer of Biology at United Public School and College, Jamalpur.
She got the prestigious ‘NST fellowship’ in 2020 and ‘Best Speaker Award’ at the Annual Botanical Conference-2022 organized by the Bangladesh Botanical Society. Her research interests include Pharmacognostical, neuro-pharmacological and antimicrobial activities of ethnic medicinal plants of Bangladesh through various in-vitro and in-vivo approaches.
