Emran Alam Rose

A graduate of the University of Dhaka with a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature, Emran further broadened his intellectual and artistic horizons by earning a Diploma in Theatre and Dance from Visva-Bharati University, India. This dual academic and artistic foundation has profoundly shaped his philosophy of education — one that values critical inquiry, creative expression, and cultural identity.

Emran’s artistic journey has been marked by remarkable achievements. He is the recipient of three national awards from the Bangladesh Shishu Academy in recognition of his excellence in acting, dancing, and directing, including the coveted titles of Best Folk Dancer and Best Actor in 2006 and 2007. His direction and performances on both national and international stages have celebrated and elevated the rich heritage of Bangladesh.

A former national debater on Bangladesh Television (BTV), Emran has long been a respected voice in the country’s debating arena. As a mentor, he has guided numerous institutions to prestigious appearances and achievements in BTV debate competitions, inspiring a new generation of articulate, confident, and intellectually vibrant young people.

Parallel to his educational and cultural endeavors, Emran has built a distinguished career in journalism. He serves as a Senior Journalist at The Daily Front News and as an Education Reporter at The Daily New Age. His insightful articles and reports have illuminated key issues in education, culture, and social development, earning him wide respect as a thoughtful commentator and storyteller.

In 2025, Emran was honored with the Star Excellence Award-2025(Education Sector) where he received the distinction of Best Teacher of the Year for his outstanding contributions to education, cultural advancement, and youth leadership. His work continues to inspire hundreds of students, empowering them to think critically and dream boldly.

Emran also serves as the Vice President of Samakal Shubridha, a prominent socio-cultural organization in Jamalpur dedicated to nurturing intellectual growth and promoting cultural consciousness.
